Get a FREE Porn Addiction DVD Resource
Join our cause on Facebook, “Fighting Internet Pornography.” If you recruit 100 people we will ship you a free personal DVD toolkit from Freedom Begins Here, one of the leading ministries battling pornography addiction.
This toolkit features in-depth teaching from Dr. Mark Laaser, a recognized Christian authority on sex addiction, and testimonies from many individuals. This toolkit is meant for those who are struggling with porn, and their spouses and friends. It is also ideal for small groups whose members want to dive into this topic.

I do not have facebook.
I am “silent no more” about bringing the darkness into
the light about abortion and how it negatively affects the
men and women involved. They have some great
Christ centered studies on being forgiven and set free;
and then striving forward for others to be forgiven and
set free. I would like to be very actively involved in my
community, my church, in any way that I can to become
knowledgeable about pornography addiction, and more so – to help others to come to a point of being
forgiven and set free. It is my passion which I believe,
God has called me to do. Pornography, in many forms,
has had significant negative affects on my life. I’m not
only willing to share, but I know it is fully to be in service
and to help others.
I am not fully “seasoned” yet, which is why I am search-
ing for resources to help me.
So, if I do not have facebook, and don’t know 100 people to refer, how can I go about getting this dvd
tool set to help me?
Pauline, you can easily go to the Freedom Begins Here website and find a whole host of resources there. Perhaps you’ll find something that really suits your needs and the sort of work you are going. They have many DVD toolkits to choose from. Thanks for all the work to you do!
I am starting a small group at our church based on the book Every Man’s Battle. We would love to have this resource to share with our men. Please consider sending us a copy. God bless you as youhelp men in their struggle to be sexually pure.
Hello Tim. You can actually go to the Freedom Begins Here website and see if they have a toolkit specifically designed for your setting. They have a variety of things you can purchase, including different curriculums for groups, individuals, accountability partnerships, and other items.
Every Man’s Battle also has a DVD for young men you might want to check into. I haven’t seen it, but if you are using that book, you might want to look into their other materials that will be a direct supplement.
I am a wife of 25 years to a man who became a pastor and missionary, and a mother of 7 amazingly strong christian children, During the last 5 years, we found out that my children’s then 75 yr. old grandfather had molested 2 of our younger daughters. His roots began in pornography. He is now in prison perhaps for the rest of his life. Shortly after that, my husband lost his ministry b/c of his uncontrolled pornography addiction. And just this past June, after 25 years of living a double standard life, he dropped the “F” bomb on me, told me I meant nothing to him, and walked out. I was planning to start a non profit organization on Facebook to raise greater awareness of the devastation pornography brings to children, marriages, and society as a whole until I saw the tremendous following and momentum you already have there. Would you please help me in this process of being a voice as well? I have 25 years of dealing w/ this personally, as well as my experience as a pastor’s wife in the inner city, as well as rural area. Thank you, Tricia Parrent
@Tricia – Thanks for sharing your story with us. I am so sorry to hear about all that has happened in your family recently. I’d love to talk with you further about what we can do together to spread the word about the devastation pornography can cause. I’ll be sure to shoot you an email today.
Luke,
Here it is almost exactly one year later since my first post. I am amazed at the incredible grace of God that has been poured into my life since this unthinkable change of events has happened.
Through my own choice to accept responsibility as to how I am going to respond to the “unthinkable”, I have unspeakable freedom, peace and new found purpose from which to move forward.
There will always be the sin and bondage of this type of addiction. I have come to realize that pornography and all the sexual addictions associated with it is, quite frankly, here to continually steal, kill and destroy many many lives . As I have processed through this personal journey, my passion to “fight” pornography is not what I have been called to pursue or invest my energies into.
For me, the one noble cause that clings to my very soul and spirit which I cannot deny is to offer hope, empowerment, and practical resources to the victims who suffer with broken, hemorrhaging hearts emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually as a result of its effects. I also am all about preparing someone to respond correctly to such a violation of integrity should it take hold within a loved ones’ life.
As a means of taking the worst of adversities and learning how to respond correctly, I have been given the ability and privilege of turning them into my most valuable assets. It is this new found freedom and opportunity I have claimed for the purpose of launching my new business called Youniquely Designed. Because The World Deserves You At Your Best.
Youniquely Designed has the sole purpose of taking a “wholistic” approach to recognizing, refining, and restoring purpose, power, and passion back into a heart who needs it most, and is ready to take intentional responsibility to pursue it.
Emotional wounds, failures, disappointment and tragedies take their toll on the whole body, not just the heart. It is vital that we respond correctly for the sake of the whole body, and not just the mind, or body, or heart, or spirit individually. Through this type of approach which addresses the root issues within each of the areas collectively, one such as myself and anyone else who refuses to play the role of victim, or revenger can be refined rather than defined by what happens to you. Because what happens to us, happens to all of us. It is only how we view, respond, and carry on that will be the difference between “just getting thru”, and triumphantly getting from and getting on with new found freedom, power, and newness of life.
I encourage you to take a look at my website, which will be fully launched January 2011 and drop me a note letting me know how I might help you.
Warmest regards and Thank you!
