Accountability software monitors a device for the purpose of helping the user overcome pornography. Screen Accountability (available through a Victory® subscription) does this by taking screenshots and reporting if explicit content is detected. These are shared with a trusted ally, chosen by the person seeking accountability.

Yes. But not all filtering, porn blocking, and parental controls are the same. These terms are often used interchangeably to describe very different kinds of software or hardware.
Victory is not a parental control app. But it does have multiple levels of porn blocking and has a custom block list for further specification.

Porn blocking apps and internet filters play an important role in living porn free. Unfortunately, using a porn blocker alone to quit porn rarely helps anyone actually quit for good. Unlike porn blockers alone, screen accountability is not about controlling behaviors. Rather, Screen Accountability is about harnessing the power of relationships to live a porn-free life.
With Victory®, you invite an ally to see a report of your device activity. Your ally sees where you go online, and this removes the temptation to seek out porn, while our porn blocking works in the background to help prevent porn from ever showing up on your screen.

Many people find themselves struggling with the impact of pornography addiction—often without even realizing it. The Pornography Addiction and Use Survey (PAUS) was created by certified sex addiction therapists to help you better understand the effect of porn on your life.

Many people trapped by porn don’t know it. They aren’t ready to admit they have a problem. If you’re here, you’re ahead of the curve. However, before you can begin your recovery journey, you must own it.
