My regards to Boaz, author of Not the Southern Cross, for his comments about Moore Theological College and Covenant Eyes.
I found one comment very interesting: “The Covenant Eyes is not going to help this situation, it’s only going to make things worse. I predict some people will become quite anxious and some may get depressed and there is the risk of suicidal behaviour. I would refuse to sign up for it, simply on principle.” <sic>
I would be very interested in hearing from our customers about the effectiveness of Covenant Eyes when it is broadly implemented across a community (such as at a school or in a church). Because the vast majority of Covenant Eyes users are individuals and families, we don’t have many statistics about the usefulness of CE-use as policy in a large community. We’ve received many great testimonies via email and phone about the positive effects of CE from individuals. I hope to see the same track record in institutions like Moore. I suppose time and constant observation will provide the needed information.
Comments anyone?
