Everything you need to know about our scholarship program

The Covenant Eyes Scholarship program was founded in 2009 to encourage and support college students who demonstrate integrity using today’s technology. Scholarship applicants write essays that share their experiences, challenges, and victories in the fight against pornography.

On July 14, 2017, Covenant Eyes lost one of its Member Care Agents, Kenneth Bowen, in a tragic automobile accident. Kenneth modeled the core values that Covenant Eyes holds as a company, and in his honor, Covenant Eyes began the Kenneth Bowen Scholarship award ($5,000).

Kenneth embodied the essence of servant leadership among his peers, and as a Member Care Agent, he was highly influential in motivating our members to live out the best version of themselves with integrity in every facet of their lives.

Kenneth carried himself with gentleness and grace, and yet his demeanor was such that he at once struck you with the awareness that his influence and persuasion sprang from a higher source. He was a delightful person, and humility was a driving force in his life. We hope and pray that the legacy of love Kenneth left with us is exemplified in each essay we receive.

Covenant Eyes has scholarship funds available of up to $5,000 per selected recipient for students who are enrolled full-time in college classes and are current users of Covenant Eyes Screen Accountability. Scholarships are awarded to both employees and their families and members at large. Each qualifying student is eligible to receive a non-renewable award once. Any level of coursework is acceptable, whether just starting at a community college, going for your M.Div. at seminary, or working for a Ph.D. in Art History.

We’re pleased to announce our sixth annual Kenneth Bowen Scholarship this year (a $5,000 award). In 2023, $9,600 was awarded to the finalists, including the Kenneth Bowen Scholarship recipient.

All applicants must be enrolled in college full-time in the fall semester of the year the application is submitted. All applicants must personally use Covenant Eyes Screen Accountability. Applicants who show no Accountability activity on their username will be disqualified. Each applicant is eligible to receive the Covenant Eyes Scholarship one time. Recipients who have a change in plans and will not be attending college should return their award to the Covenant Eyes Scholarship Committee.

By applying for the Covenant Eyes Scholarship, you are permitting Covenant Eyes to use your submitted essays for promotional purposes. You will be able to choose whether you wish to remain anonymous or not.

Covenant Eyes reserves the right to discontinue this scholarship offering at any time and distribute Scholarships as Covenant Eyes shall solely determine.  Payment will be made to the college of choice on the applicant’s behalf.
