Below is a testimony from Nate Larkin about his past sex addiction. Nate is author of Samson and the Pirate Monks.
Nate’s Story of Freedom:
After Nate started to find freedom from his addiction to porn he founded a group called The Samson Society, a group for men to be honest with each other about the struggles of life.
There are now hundreds of groups meeting all over the country.
To aid in his continued freedom from pornography, Nate uses Covenant Eyes accountability software. In the interview below, Nate talks about why accountability is so important to him.
@Moriah Dufrin
It’s not in the video itself. It is within “Nate Larkin’s” Playlist. If you clicked on “Nate Larkin” ‘s name below where it says, “I am Second® Nate Larkin” on the title, then click on “Playlists” then click “View Full Playlist” then on the 9th video down you will see the questionable title.
Something that you didn’t know, I’ve already alerted C.E. about this issue before your comment and they said that they would look into it. But they haven’t fixed the regular link you supposedly click on anyway to view the video they want you to see yet.
I checked the post again, and it looks like we have migrated the video to a different platform! This should eliminate any need to visit YouTube.
Hope this helps! Thank you for your patience with us as we fixed this.
Blessings,
Moriah
@Nicolás A Caputo, @Everyone, @Covenant Eyes
That link is okay, and glad you found it. However, there is a questionable sexualized video within the “Playlists” section (i.e. Morning Meditations) for those of who struggle with any type of porn, whether visually or audial. Covenant Eyes needs to take a look into this situation to see if that is his “actual” YouTube account or if it’s been hacked etc. Trust me when I say you don’t have to click on the actual video to know from the title what it is.
I wanted to know a little more about the man in the YouTube video and clicked on his Videos, Playlists, Channels, etc. like any normal person would and found the disturbing list item.
Please be careful all!
Hi,
For someone struggling with temptation, we recommend staying off of YouTube all together. I looked into the video you mentioned and did not find any questionable material. If you are seeing questionable videos, I would suggest that you don’t watch videos on YouTube.
Blessings,
Moriah

Thanks!
Glory to God for i also have gain freedom from this wonderful advice.
Very powerful story. I kept relapse and it has been a huge struggle for me and now I’ve improved so much better as long as I was aware of my action and set rules for myself then I felt a huge freedom. Thanks for sharing and hope.
I’m still struggle with internet pornography,I have not viewed pornography website since Nov 19th,2016.Although it is a progress for me.But I will keep in mind,be carefully with anything make me sexual arousal.
I wept as I listened. I personally found freedom when I allowed God to tear down the walls I’d built and break the chains I’ll bound myself in. God used a godly and compassionate counselor and a young Southern Baptist pastor who could listened to an old man’s story of brokenness and redemption. I’m 77 years old, and a widower for 5 years on the 3rd of this month. In these 5 years God has had me to himself in my house, and he has showed me myself, wounded me with his severe mercy, and is bringing restoration to an old man’s like. To God be the glory.
So glad Nate’s story was an encouragement to you!
