Victory by Covenant Eyes is the overall accountability service. It includes two parts: Victory Shield and the Victory app. Victory Shield runs on your devices to monitor activity, take periodic screenshots, detect potentially explicit content, and provide optional porn blocking. The Victory app brings reports, ally connection, messaging, and growth tools together in one place.
Accountability software monitors a device for the purpose of helping the user overcome pornography. Victory’s Screen Accountability feature does this by taking screenshots and reporting if explicit content is detected. These are shared with a trusted ally, chosen by the person seeking accountability.

Yes. But not all filtering, porn blocking, and parental controls are the same. These terms are often used interchangeably to describe very different kinds of software or hardware.
Victory is not a parental control app. But it does have multiple levels of porn blocking and has a custom block list for further specification.

When you sign up for Victory, you can install Victory Shield to protect all your devices. Victory supports these platforms:

For iOS / iPhone® / iPad®
When Victory Shield is installed on iPhone and iPad devices, it takes screenshots within the Safari browser only. For other browsers and apps, it detects and can block likely explicit domain names. For the fullest protection on iPhone and iPad, utilize Victory Shield in tandem with native iOS Screen Time Limits and App Restrictions.
Through the Victory app, members and their allies can check in, view reports and the activity feed, and share private messages.
No. Victory does not take screenshots of text messages on iPhone or iPad. However, Victory does report likely explicit domain names included in text messages.

For Android™
When Victory Shield™ is installed, it runs quietly in the background and takes screenshots of the device activity. It also provides optional porn blocking to further protect your devices.
Through the Victory app, members and their allies receive notifications, can do check-ins, view reports, their activity feeds, and share private messages.
Victory takes screenshots of text messages on Android, but these screenshots are blurred to obscure the text.
This allows accountability to work effectively while protecting personal privacy.
Victory cannot take screenshots when incognito mode or private browsing is enabled. However, it will notify allies if incognito or private browsing is used to ensure accountability.
For Mac
When Victory Shield™ is installed, it runs in the background and takes screenshots of the device activity. It also provides optional porn blocking to further protect your devices.
Through the Victory app—the web app on your computer or the mobile app on your phone—members and their allies receive notifications, check-ins, view reports, their activity feeds, and share private messages.
