When I first listened to the words of this song, they were like water rushing in to my parched, tired spirit. I felt as if the words were meant for me: I needed to know I wasn’t alone. I needed someone to give me hope for my troubled relationship. I needed someone to tell me all the yesterdays of my marriage were behind me and there was hope for today.
But one day my husband’s infidelity—online and offline—brought me to a breaking point. I finally made a decision to travel a path I never thought I would walk down: I took my sons and left my husband and our home.
