Covenant Eyes is in the process of transitioning to a new payment processing system called Stripe. For plans being paid for by a Community, we wanted to provide you with some additional details regarding this change.
We are no longer communicating billing information by default to the Account Administrator’s email address. Instead, all billing information will be sent to the billing email address you provide. This security update is to ensure that we are contacting the financially responsible party. You can update it here.
Working with Stripe
Stripe is our new payment processing company. You may see “Stripe” on your billing receipts and some emails. Our invoices and receipts also have a new look but will always include our logo so you can easily identify us.
Updates in My Account
We have switched to a few new methods of billing communication in My Account to better serve you:
- You will have access to your billing receipts in My Account on both the Billing and Billing History pages. We will only send you an email receipt if you are charged for your plan. Since a Community is paying for your plan, you will no longer receive email receipts.
- If at some point your Community no longer pays for your plan, you may notice that your billing date has changed. This is because we switched everyone in the Community over to Stripe on the same date.
- We updated our notification settings in My Account to alert you of outdated or missing billing information. We want to keep you informed.
- You may now update your credit card information from the Update Billing Info page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why am I not receiving a receipt?
Billing receipts will now be sent only to the person paying for your plan. You may still view a copy of the receipt via My Account on the “Billing” page.
Will my billing information still be secure?
Yes! Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. We at Covenant Eyes take your security seriously, and will only work with a payment processing company who meets our security standards.
Can the Administrator receive the billing emails?
Yes! Just enter the Administrator’s billing email address in the “Billing Email” field on the “Billing” page of My Account.
