If you subscribe to Covenant Eyes via in-app purchase on your Apple or Android™ device, Apple or Google acts as a third party between you and Covenant Eyes. You also receive the following benefits:
- You can control your subscription directly through your Apple ID on your Apple device or through your Google account on your Android™ device.
- You don’t need to share your payment information with Covenant Eyes.
- You can start/end your subscription at any time.
Why is Covenant Eyes more expensive via in-app purchase?
The Covenant Eyes in-app subscription is more expensive than our on-site subscription because of additional costs for management through Apple’s and Google’s payment systems.
Can I use a promo code, affiliate link, Refer-A-Friend, or discount with in-app purchase?
You cannot use a promo code, affiliate link, Refer A Friend link, or discount if you subscribe to Covenant Eyes via in-app purchase because Apple and Google do not support these features.
Can I use Covenant Eyes on other devices if I subscribe via in-app purchase?
Yes, you can use Covenant Eyes on other devices if you subscribe via in-app purchase on an Apple or Android™ device! Follow our installation instructions for each device and sign in with the same username and password you created during your in-app purchase.
How do I update my payment information if I subscribed via in-app purchase?
If you bought a Covenant Eyes subscription via in-app purchase, you control your subscription directly through your Apple ID or Google account. If you subscribed on your Apple device, update your payment information on your device. If you subscribed on your Android™ device, update your payment information for your Google account.
How do I cancel my subscription if I subscribed via in-app purchase?
Apple or Google maintains your subscription if you bought a Covenant Eyes subscription via in-app purchase:
- If you subscribed on your Apple device, you must cancel your subscription through Apple.
- If you subscribed on your Android™ device, you must cancel your subscription through Google.
- You’ll also need to uninstall Covenant Eyes from your devices once your subscription ends.
Can I get a refund if I subscribed and canceled via in-app purchase?
Covenant Eyes does not handle refund requests if you subscribed via in-app purchase because either Apple or Google controls your subscription:
- If you subscribed to Covenant Eyes on your Apple device, your purchase is subject to Apple’s refund policies.
- If you subscribed to Covenant Eyes on your Android™ device, your purchase is subject to Google’s refund policies.
