How do I submit a Report question or a rating change request?

The article applies to a report for someone using the Internet Accountability service.

If you believe a website on an Internet Accountability report has been rated incorrectly, or you have a question about that report, you can submit a Report Question or Rating Change Request to our Rating Team. Your request will be reviewed and, in a few days, you should receive an emailed response from a Rating Specialist.

Submitting a Report Question via the Accountability Report

From the Accountability Report Dashboard, highly rated websites generally appear as an “Incident” or in the “Other Items for Review” section.

  1. For a website that is labeled as an Incident, click on the “See Incident Details”  button.
  2. Now you will see internet activity that was generated around the same time the highly rated website was accessed.
  3. From this view, click on the concerning website (usually it’s in bold) and you will be brought to a “Details” screen.
  4. Click “Request a Rating change” or “Ask a Report Question.”
  5. Fill in your questions/comments into the comment field, suggest a rating for the website, and click “submit.”

If you have concerns or questions about an entry in the Other Items for Review category, you can “Ask a Report Question” or “Request a Rating Change.”

    1. Simply click on the concerning entry from the Other Items for Review section.
    2. You will be brought to a “Details” screen. Click “Request a Rating change” or “Ask a Report Question.”
    3. Fill in your questions/comments into the “Comments” field, suggest a rating for the website, and click “Submit.”
