How do I find my device’s operating system?

Covenant Eyes works on Android™ devices, iPhone®/iPad®, Mac®, and Windows! This article will help you view your device’s operating system to see if it’s compatible with Covenant Eyes.

Select your device


Select your device for instructions on viewing your operating system version:


Android™

Covenant Eyes is compatible with Android™ devices with Android™ 7.0 or higher.

  1. Open the “Settings” app .
  2. Tap “About phone.” (Some Android™ devices may say “About device” or “About tablet.”)
  3. Tap “Software information.”
  4. Under Android version, you’ll see the operating system version number. You need Android™ version 6 or higher to use Covenant Eyes.

iPhone® and iPad®

Covenant Eyes is compatible with iPhone®/iPad® with iOS 14 or higher.

  1. Open the “Settings” app .
  2. Tap “General.”
  3. Tap “About.”
  4. Nex to iOS Version, you’ll see the operating system version number. You need iOS version 14 or higher to use Covenant Eyes.

Mac

Covenant Eyes is compatible with macOS® (Mac® operating system) High Sierra 10.13 or higher.

  1. From your Mac desktop, click on the Apple icon in the top left corner.
  2. Select “About This Mac.”
  3. A small window should open with details about your Mac. Next to macOS, you’ll see your version number. You need macOS® Sierra 10.12.1 or higher to use Covenant Eyes.

Windows 8 and Higher

Covenant Eyes is compatible with Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11.

  1. On the Windows desktop, at the bottom of the screen, right-click the Windows icon on the taskbar.
  2. On the menu, select “System.”
  3. On the System screen, scroll down and select “About.”
  4. On the About screen, next to Edition, you’ll see the computer’s Windows version number.

Windows 7

Covenant Eyes is compatible with Windows 7, 8, and 10.

  1. Click on the Windows icon in the bottom left corner of your screen.
  2. A Windows menu will pop up, right-click the “Computer” option. In the next menu that appears, select “Properties.”
  3. The operating system will be listed near the top of the Windows System page.
