Disable BullGuard Safe Browsing

This section only applies to members using Covenant Eyes’ Filtering service. Having multiple filters seems like a good idea, but they can actually “fight” each other and  cause connection issues and poor filtering. Disabling BullGuard’s Safe Browsing feature prevents that and allows our filtering service to “take the lead.”

  1. Open BullGuard and from the BullGuard home-screen, select the “Settings” icon in the top, right-hand corner.
  2. From BullGuard’s Settings page, select the “Advanced” button from the top, right-hand corner.
  3. Select Antivirus from the left-side menu, and then select “Safe browsing.”
  4. Under the Show safe results on these websites section, un-check Google, Bing, Yahoo, and Facebook.
