Our friends Tray and Melody Lovvorn were recently featured on ShareWIK.com to talk about their story of pornography addiction, infidelity, divorce, and remarriage. Watch their video testimony.

I first interviewed the Lovvorns on October 3, 2009, the day of their second first anniversary (that is, the anniversary of their second wedding). They shared with us the whole story of Tray’s growing addiction to pornography, his attraction to chat rooms, his multiple affairs, and eventually their divorce. They shared the pain of this experience and how God eventually brought them back together after a six-year separation.

One of the things that moved me most hearing Tray’s full story was how much his church was instrumental in guiding him through the murky waters of his own addiction and reconciliation. I was struck by how bold and purposeful the elders of his church were in disciplining him for his sin in a way that ultimately brought healing to his heart and his marriage. I wish more of our readers had a church like that.
