After the last session a special announcement was made. Sam Storms and Justin Taylor announced that a new book, that has been a secret for 3 years, is just being released today. The title of the book is For the Fame of God’s Name: Essays in Honor of John Piper.
The reason for this book is to express the contributors gratitude for what God has done in and through the work of John Piper. Contributers to this project include C.J. Mahaney, Albert Mohler, Justin Taylor, Randy Alcorn, Wayne Grudem, Sam Storms, Douglas Ware, D.A. Carson, Sinclair Ferguson, Mark Dever, John McArthur, and many others.
Piper tearfully came to the microphone and responded that the names means so much to him. He said “I feel great and very loved.”
We at Covenant Eyes would also like to thank John Piper for what he has done for God’s kingdom.
