Thanks to Pastor Bobby Scott for his four-post series on “How Nakedness Affected the Fall.” Bobby unpacks the early chapters of Genesis to show the link between Eve’s nakedness and Adam’s fall into sin.

Bobby convincingly argues how the author of Genesis singles out Eve’s nakedness as one of the primary reasons why Adam rejects God’s command. He chooses to listen to Eve rather than God. Satan shrewdly exploits the very thing God had created as a blessing for the first couple and uses it against Adam. Pastor Scott also utilizes the Genesis text to show us how to battle Satan’s shrewd temptations today.
