Covenant Eyes Podcast – Episode 33

Fight Clubs Interview Part 2Today’s podcast is the second portion of my conversation with Jonathan Dodson, author of Fight Clubs: Gospel-Centered Discipleship. Jonathan is the lead pastor of Austin City Life.

In this podcast, Jonathan describes how Christian accountability groups can focus their conversations on Biblical truths that enact real internal change. In the spirit of the great Puritan preacher Jonathan Edwards, Dodson calls us to stir up “religious affections” in one another, new gospel-centered, Spirit-empowered desires that motivate real obedience to God.

You can read more about this in chapter three of Fight Clubs, “How to Fight: Motivations for Discipleship.”

Hi Luke, when you’re done posting these, could you please combine the entire interview into one audio file? Or at least into one post? Thanks for considering.
Thank you for your invaluable ministry.

@Warrick – I’ve uploaded all three parts of the interview as one audio file. You can download it or listen to it here.

The covenant eyes podcast is in iTunes, but only shows up to episode #26, not this one #33. It is very convenient to be able to use iTunes to get the latest episodes.
