Why should your church staff and leaders use Covenant Eyes?

You are here: Promotional Materials / Church Information

Dear church leader,

Today more than ever, church staff and leaders are using the Internet. However, this poses a significant risk and liability to staff and congregation members, especially if the church doesn't have an Internet Safety and Use Policy to monitor employees' Internet use. If a staff member were to view Internet pornography while on the church premises, this could lead to a sexual misconduct and greatly damage the church and the congregation. The church would also be vulnerable to lawsuits. Filters provide some help, but they can be bypassed, frequently block acceptable sites, and they don't hold anyone accountable for their Internet use.

Covenant Eyes is here to answer questions and assist you in enrolling your staff on the Covenant Eyes program. We can also help you in developing an 'Employee Internet Use Safety Policy'.

Throughout the church in N. America, Internet pornography is having devastating effects upon individuals, families, marriages and our testimony for Christ. Please carefully consider this information.
