What will prevent me from just disabling the program when I don't want my activity to be monitored?

Covenant Eyes is designed to be extremely difficult to disable or bypass. Accountability is only effective when you are being monitored.
Attempting to disable the Covenant Eyes program may result in serious damage to your computer. Covenant Eyes is not responsible for any damage done to the operating system by attempts to circumvent the Covenant Eyes program, per the User Agreement.
Attempting to disable the Covenant Eyes Program may result in your Internet access being blocked.
To safely uninstall Covenant Eyes, a valid uninstall code (available from our website Member Center) must be obtained. The uninstall code is only valid on the day it is obtained. The request will appear on the member's Accountability Report and the Accountability Partners are notified that the program has been temporarily or permanently uninstalled.
