Take a QuickLook at report’s newest feature

The Covenant Eyes report now includes a "QuickLook" box at the top of the report. We have experimented with various numerical or other "grading" systems to help you quickly evaluate reports. Our reports will now have a few words in the Quick-Look box that will tell you, at-a-glance, whether you should look further at the report or not. Of course, any system that tries to reduce the  broad spectrum of people's Internet use to a few phrases cannot be perfect, so it is always a good idea periodically to review reports, regardless of the QuickLook analysis.

If the QuickLook says "Report Looks Good" then the analysis indicates little to no pattern of objectionable or mature Internet use.

If the QuickLook says "Review Suggested" then the analysis indicates that there is little to moderate access to sites that are considered mature, or in some instances, objectionable. While this rating is fairly common for adults, we suggest that you take time in reviewing the report.

If the QuickLook says "Close Review Recommended" then the analysis indicates that mature, or perhaps objectionable sites have been visited. While there are legitimate reasons for visiting such sites, this rating usually requires reviewing the report in detail, perhaps even going to the "Detailed Log" to help discern motivation.

If the QuickLook says "Reporting Period Too Short" then the period of the report is less than 5 days, and no analysis of pattern can be done. If you want to see a QuickLook analysis, simply generate a report with a period of 5 or more days. The QuickLook analysis is most accurate for a 7-day period. Remember, genuine accountability always should include personal contact. Regardless of the QuickLook rating, we always recommend that you use the report as a starting point for discussion and accountability.
