How can I tell if a high score is really an objectionable site without going there?
You are here: Frequently Asked Questions / Basic Information / About Covenant Eyes
The nature of our scoring system is to score the websites with a system that evaluates websites on three different levels. The Covenant Eyes scoring and reporting system is designed to help you see the list of websites to gain a perspective of the content of the websites visited without you viewing the websites yourself.
There are several areas of the report you want to focus on when determining whether a website is objectionable.
- Score: this reflects the indicators associated with the website
- Number of hits registered for that website
- URL address
- Browsing Pattern: Is the same website visited multiple times during the same day or time period?
- View the Detailed Browsing Log for a more accurate look at the browsing pattern. Click here for more information.
With the above thoughts taken into consideration, if you believe that a particular website has been scored inappropriately, you can submit a score change request. Click here for instructions.
