Mac users who want to upgrade to Apple's new Leopard operating system will find Covenant Eyes is already compatible.
The refreshed OS X operating system boasts more than 300 new features for Macintosh personal computers. All Mac operating systems from 10.4 Tiger through Leopard are compatible with Covenant Eyes.
"It's a really nice, seamless experience for Covenant Eyes users," said Covenant Eyes programmer Jared Burkeen. "Covenant Eyes looks and behaves with Leopard just as it does with Tiger. It has the same look and feel you've come to expect." Mac users who already have Covenant Eyes installed do not have to uninstall and reinstall. The current version of Covenant Eyes will run with the Leopard.
Covenant Eyes is offering a limited-time free trial for new Mac users. While signing up, enter the promotional code "LEOPARD" to get a one-month free trial.
To upgrade to Leopard go to http://www.apple.com/macosx. Apple has two purchase options: $129 for a single user or $199 for a family pack for up to five users. There are not separate versions for a full install versus an upgrade. Minimum system requirements to upgrade a Mac include:
• Mac computer with an Intel, PowerPC G5, or PowerPC G4 (867MHz or faster) processor • 512MB of physical RAM • DVD drive for installation
People who own both Macs and Windows PCs may use Covenant Eyes on all their computers at no extra charge. Once a person has a Covenant Eyes username, downloading the software is free. For example, download to a home computer, office computer and laptop to provide accountability wherever the Internet is used. A report that shows your online activity is delivered to the Accountability Partner(s) of your choice.
Covenant Eyes software is helping people in more than 70 countries, providing Internet Accountability for Macs and Windows PCs and Filtering for Windows. Go to: http://www.covenanteyes.com for more information.
