Pastor Arrested in Internet Sex Sting Operation

A Dallas-area pastor, Joe Barron, was arrested in an Internet sex sting this past weekend. Undercover officers posing as a 13 year-old girl had been communicating online with Barron for about two weeks. Their conversations had been sexual in nature. Barron suggested meeting the girl in person. He then drove nearly 200 miles on May [...]

Dear Abby: I’m female, 16, religious, and addicted to porn

I read a recent post by Dear Abby.  A 16-year-old girl admits her addiction to porn and asks for Abby’s advice.  I really appreciate the candid honesty of this girl, and the counsel Abby gives her.  Abby writes, “the problem with pornography is the distorted vision it gives viewers of what sex is really about.”

It has long been touted by relationship therapists that a little pornography can spice up our sex lives. It is believed that male impotence is caused by a mere lack of visual stimulation: add a little porn and the problem goes away. [...]

National Day of Prayer . . . For Porn

Tomorrow is the National Day of Prayer in the US. This yearly event has been going on since 1952 when, after a joint resolution by Congress, signed by President Truman, the U.S. government declared an annual, national day of prayer. In 1988, the law was amended and signed by President Reagan, permanently setting the day [...]

Just How Big is the Porn Business?

Finding reliable statistics about the production and consumption of pornography is difficult to do. A cursory glance around the World Wide Web yields different results. Just how many billions of dollars does the adult film industry make?
To be sure, there are the “accepted” statistics that get passed around from Web page to Web page, but [...]
