Luke, this is an incredibly eye-opening piece! I never thought of lust as having a positive connotation but I see how it could accurately describe that yearning to know Christ that we so desperately strive for. This article is going to revolutionize my recovery as I work toward moving out of unholy lust and toward a craving for Christ.

Hey Luke,

I like the thought of "fighting lust with lust". Catchy.

Filling our minds and hearts with Christ, His love, the Blessed Hope. Good healthy outlet for our minds.

Getting control of our minds and thoughts is so challenging. We have spent so much of our lives with unguarded minds. We don't know how to redirect our thoughts. It is a painful exercise and it is much easier to just let our mind go where it wishes.

May we learn to call out to God for a deep longing for Him. For deep, frequent thoughts about Him. And for a greater love and greater passion than the porn we have been so given to.
