The Love Dare - new movie seeks to “fireproof” marriages

My friends over at ThoughtQuotient.com put together a video interview with some of the people involved in the movie Fireproof. I’ve been following the making of this motion picture for some time now. In this film actor Kirk Cameron’s character (Caleb Holt) is a man whose marriage is falling apart due, in part, to his addiction to pornography. The movie seeks to tackle some of the misconceptions about marriage and love in our culture.

Below is a video in which Steven Kendrick, Kirk Cameron and Erin Bethea (co-writer/producer and lead actors of Fireproof respectively) talk about the amount of prayer and volunteer effort that went into the film:

One of the key features of the movie is a challenge given to Caleb Holt (played by Cameron) called The Love Dare. The challenge for Caleb is to win back the trust and love of his wife by daring to love her the way the Bible teaches a man to love his wife. Fireproof writers are in the process of publishing a book of the same name. In the video below Steven Kendrick and Kirk Cameron describe what the book is going to be about.
