Covenant Eyes 4.2.8c for PC
We have another software update today! Our programmers have released 4.2.8c, which shores up our filtering of the Internet Relay Chat (IRC) protocol. For those of you with our Internet Filtering service, you (or your filter guardian) simply must visit the protocol blocking page of our Member Center and set “Blocking IRC” to “Blocked.” This will block all IRC chat applications.
IRC is a protocol that allows instant messaging via chat rooms on the internet. Most IRC clients allow the downloading of files from a remote server.
You can get the updated version via our Download Center, or you can simply wait for the auto update to notify you to update your software package.
