Five Ways to Protect Your Family Online
My urgent mission is to help families realize the dangers of the Internet, and to empower people with tools that provide protection and encourage accountability and trust in the fight against Internet temptation.
In light of this, I’ve given a short talk on “5 Ways to Protect Your Family Online.”

I often hear this cry coming from a crisis situation: “If only I had done something about it earlier!”
It doesn’t matter whether it’s cancer, or a poor investment decision, or fixing a leaky faucet, I’ve said that too many times.
Most of us have had a virus on our computers, and now we have anti-virus programs. If only I had that on my computer earlier, I wouldn’t have lost that data. And we’ve had bad pop-ups, so we now have a pop-up blocker. Or we’ve had a hard drive crash and lost everything. If only, if only, if only…
And when we fall to the temptations of the Internet (pornography, online flirting, wasting time, cheating our employers by doing personal things, etc.), and our relationships fall apart around us because of that, we again cry out, “If only I had done something about it earlier!”
Why don’t we learn our lesson and do it earlier rather than later?
