Where did my CE icon go?

Windows 7 has gone to the trouble of hiding some of your icons in the system tray (that are typically placed on the bottom right-hand corner of your screen). Active system services (like anti-virus programs, windows updates, and other services) will not be displayed in the system tray. This means the CE icon also might not be visible.

If you want it to be visible again:

1. Go to your system tray and click on the little arrow just to the left of your visible icons. This is the “Show hidden icons” arrow.

2. When you spot the CE icon, drag it to the left of the arrow on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.
