Casting Crowns Takes Home Many Dove Awards
Congrats to Casting Crowns and Mark Hall for their many nominations and the trophies they took home last night at the 39th annual Dove Awards.
Hall was the night’s leading nominee with six.
And here’s a list of the awards they won last night:
SONG OF THE YEAR - “East to West” (Mark Hall & Bernie Herms, songwriters)
POP/CONTEMPORARY RECORDED SONG – “East To West” (Casting Crowns)
GROUP OF THE YEAR – Casting Crowns
POP/CONTEMPORARY ALBUM – The Altar and the Door (Casting Crowns)
Hall’s participation on the multi-artist worship project “Glory Revealed” brought him individual honors for SPECIAL EVENT ALBUM of the year, as well as INSPIRATIONAL RECORDED SONG of the year for “By His Wounds.” Hall said, “I’m so thankful just to get to be part of the songs.”
Thanks also for Casting Crowns continued support of Covenant Eyes and the thousands of people who are beginning to break free from the temptation of pornography as a result.

WOw we cant believe anybody even likes castin crowns; thay r horrible! ther not even real rok; u wanna know the difference between real rocknroll and that castin crowns and others (i.e. Skillet, Demon Hunter, metal music, country “rok” and slow rok) real rock bands like AC/DC dont just have a chorus or riff they have both, they scream their music like they mean it. The drummer plays hard, the guitarist’s hand move like lightning and teh singer sings loud. Music makes u feel excited to be alive. Casting Crowns makes u fall asleep out of sheer boredom.
