Covenant Eyes Software Update 4.2.8 for PC and 1.3.4 for Macs
Our programmers are at it again with another update to the Covenant Eyes Accountability and Filter products. This time for both Mac and Windows! The updated versions are now available at the Covenant Eyes Download Center. The new release of 4.2.8 for Windows includes several features.
- Added compatibility with Radialpoint Security Software.
- Several minor bugs are fixed.
The Mac client received support for proxies as well as adding compatibility for content filtering web proxies.
All in all this update provides a good set of fixes and added compatibility for the Windows program and a nice feature upgrade for the Mac. We’re always seeking to improve our software, so please drop us a line with any suggestions you have.

Question about the compatibility with Internet Explorer 8 and the “InPrivate brousing”. Does Covenent Eyes software work when a a user is using InPrivate browsing for not what it was truely designed for.
Thank you
Dan Myers
@Daniel – Yes, it does. We spoke about this on our blog a while back. Our service does not store any of the browsing information on the person’s computer anyway. The browsing history is saved on the Covenant Eyes’ servers. This means even if one’s own computer isn’t tracking their browsing history, we are tracking it.
Is there a download available for Windows 8?
@Ryan – Compatibility for Windows 8 is currently being tested. We’ll let you know more once testing is complete.
